Lighthouses, lobsters and long stretches of beach are synonymous with Portland, Maine, but the city has much more to offer: Victorian architecture, craft breweries, a thriving arts scene and world-class cuisine. At this time of year, the east coast’s famous fall foliage is everywhere, so it will be impossible to miss the brilliant red, orange and yellow trees. A world of wonder awaits as you step on board Scenic Eclipse and raise your glass to toast the start of your luxurious cruise. Please book your flight to arrive into Portland prior to 02:00 PM.

Day 2

Wake up reinvigorated after a good night’s sleep on your signature Scenic Slumber Bed, having made the most of the pillow menu at your disposal the previous night. Begin your day stretching limbs in a Pilates class with your Wellness Coach, then indulge in a barista coffee brought to your suite by your butler, followed by breakfast in the Yacht Club. Today, familiarise yourself with your ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht and make the most of the services and activities on board. You may decide to venture to the Yacht Club for lunch, or opt for Azure Bar & Café, where you can graze throughout the day.

Day 3

Indulge a little more in your Discovery Yacht’s facilities. Begin the day with a yoga class, followed by a soak in the heated vitality pool, the endless horizon your backdrop. Your active start to the day means you can reward yourself by calling on your butler to bring breakfast to your room. You could enjoy lunch here as well. Or make a date with your new friends this evening to try the finest French cuisine at Lumière, replete with a champagne bar. During the afternoon, choose your favourite bar or lounge, making the most of the truly all-inclusive beverage menu*, including premium wines and spirits. Retire to the Scenic Bar & Lounge, order a cocktail or flute of French champagne, and let your cares drift away. Throughout the day, have fun at the lively trivia sessions in the Lounge and enjoy enrichment lectures in the theatre.

Day 4

Hamilton, Bermuda (B,L,D)
Hamilton is the beating heart of Bermuda. Blending local flavour with global sophistication, experience the great harbour views and the energetic, cosmopolitan vibe. When the city of Hamilton was founded in 1788 by Sir Henry Hamilton, he wanted to create a central hub that is relatively close to all on the Island. This accounts for the motto, ‘Sparsa Collegit’, translation of which is ‘brought together the scattered’. Walk around the pastel-coloured façade.

St. George’s (B,L,D)
Originally called New London, St. George’s is steeped in history. Mentioned in one of Shakespeare's famous plays “The Tempest”. Streets are still named after local people that used to reside in the area, including Aunt Peggy, a friendly slave known to keep watch on the town chatting to all who passed by. Wander through the narrow, charming lanes travelling back to the 17th century, interacting with the incredibly warm and welcoming locals.

Colonial St. George’s and Forts: See of the highlights of St. George, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the neighbouring St. David's area. Stop at the century's old Fort St. Catherine, which houses an outstanding collection of perfect replicas of Britain's dazzling Crown jewels. Visit the Bermuda Perfumery, a 17th century Heritage Trust home with fascinating open wooden beam ceilings and old-world architecture.

Crystal Caves and Tuckers Town Drive: Departing Scenic Eclipse, take a short drive through the Old Town to the Crystal Caves, an amazing natural grotto of stalactites and stalagmites. Named the Crystal Caves for the clear flowing deep lake and azure blue water, so clear that you can see the cave's floor 55 feet below the surface. Following your visit to the Caves, enjoy a wonderful overview of the exclusive residential area of Tuckers Town, a gated community that is home to the rich and famous. Real estate in this area begins at around $10 million dollars and culminates in Billionaires Row where homes of some of the world's wealthiest people.
Coopers Island E-Bike Beach and Nature Reserve Adventure: Enjoy a carefree and immensely scenic ride on an electric bike from St. George’s to Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve, where you will be free to enjoy the beach at leisure. Once occupied by the U.S. military and later used as a NASA space tracking station, this serene 12-acre reserve is now protected public land that is extraordinarily beautiful.
Harrington Sound Eco Cruise: Harrington Sound is very unique. It is a large inland body of water surrounded by the main island on all sides, only appearing open to the ocean via a small channel. Board a local boat and sit back and relax, enjoying all that Harrington Sound has to offer. Rich in biodiversity, surrounded by caves and cliffs and dotted with fascinating islands and coastal landmarks to enthral you with Bermuda’s beauty, culture, history and mystique. Enjoy a morning at leisure as you continue to explore this amazing destination. Continue your journey at midday where you will have an evening at sea. After the activities and excursions of the previous two days, some relaxation may be just what you crave. Join your new friends for an afternoon of mingling and story swapping at the Azure Bar & Café. Graze all day if you wish as all-inclusive beverages and dining ensure you’ll find something that suits your taste perfectly. Our culinary team goes to the Nth Degree to ensure your cuisine is prepared to your tastes and dietary requirements. Tonight's entertainment at the Theatre will give you another opportunity to appreciate the magical moments onboard Scenic Eclipse. Afterwards, retreat back to your ultra-luxury suite for dining in comfort, as well as a nightcap if requested, from our premium collection of wines, beers and spirits.

Little luxuries in big places – it’s quite remarkable to have the privilege to explore such a wonderful part of the world in Scenic Eclipse style. If you’re feeling inspired, you may have the chance to join a wine tasting in Epicure with your Discovery Yacht’s Head Sommelier or a cooking demonstration with the Executive Chef – check your Daily Wonder briefing. End your evening with a nightcap in the theatre, where your Discovery Yacht’s Cruise Directors host live vocals ranging from pop and opera to musical theatre.

Choose to enjoy a lazy morning in a super-comfortable bed, watching the ocean drift by outside your window. Today might be the day you call upon your butler to bring you breakfast in-suite, perhaps enjoyed on your private patio in the sunshine. When it comes time to venture out, wellness seminars on a range of fascinating subjects await in the spa or theatre, perhaps followed by a yoga or Pilates session in the dedicated studio before lunch. Come lunchtime, meet new friends for a relaxed meal in the Yacht Club, where you can order dishes inspired by the destinations you’re visiting alongside classic comfort food. Or make your way to the Azure Bar & Cafe, your Discovery Yacht’s all-day-dining restaurant where you can choose your favourite dish from the a la carte menu.

Beaches, sunshine and charm. Miami is one of the most visited cities in the world for a reason. Take in the glistening turquoise waters, the white sandy beaches lined with palm trees, the historic Art Deco architecture and the diverse people.

An island paradise, Andros Island is virtual untouched. Vast and green, soak in the sunshine as you relax on shore. Take the opportunity to walk along the white sands and turquoise waters, or interact with some of the local community.
Discovery:
Pending on the sea conditions, our tender may whisk you to the small marina for a very short walk to the beach. Alternatively, our onboard zodiacs will provide you with a convenient wet landing directly onto the beach. Choose to swim or snorkel in the turquoise lagoon from the marina. Take the opportunity to relax, sharing memories with your new friends.

Day 11

Nassau (B)
Your cruise ends this morning in Nassau as you say farewell to your crew. Disembark after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight homeward. Please book your flight to depart out of Nassau after 12:00 PM. The itinerary is a guide only and may be amended for operational reasons.
