Freechoice: Cruise on the Adelaide River, home to the ‘jumping crocodiles’ or take a day trip to Litchfield National Park. Alternatively, enjoy a sunset cruise on Darwin Harbour, take the hop-on-hop-off bus around town or the WWII Bombing of Darwin tour.

Day 3
Darwin > Kakadu (B,D)

Cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong, spotting crocodiles and birdlife. Your overnight stay tonight is Kakadu.

Day 4
Kakadu > Katherine (B,D)

Optional flight - Take an optional flight over Kakadu National Park for a bird’s-eye view of the wetlands and rocky terrain (at additional cost, please book prior to departure).

Discover the World Heritage-listed Kakadu National Park. Be amazed by the wildlife and Aboriginal art. Your home for tonight is Katherine.

Day 5
Katherine > Kununurra (B,D)

Explore the largest lake in the Southern Hemisphere, Lake Argyle, before joining your cruise down the spectacular Ord River. Relax tonight at Kununurra.

Day 6
Kununurra > El Questro (B,D)

Optional flight - Take an optional flight over the Bungle Bungles for a bird’s-eye view of these massive sandstone structures (at additional cost, please book prior to departure).

Follow the Cockburn Range to the acclaimed El Questro Wilderness Park and your Special Stay for the next two nights at Emma Gorge.

Day 7
El Questro (B,D)

Freechoice: Cruise through the Chamberlain Gorge or discover the traditional culture and history of El Questro. Alternatively, join a park ranger on a bird spotting walk.

Sunset Drinks
Relax over evening drinks at the airstrip while capturing stunning views of the sunset over the Cockburn Ranges.

Day 8
El Questro > Halls Creek (B,L,D)

Admire the striking colours of the massive Carr Boyd Ranges as you travel the Great Northern Highway. Meet your Indigenous guide for a tour and a story about the Argyle Diamond Mine which was one of the world’s largest producers of pink diamonds Continue on to Halls Creek for your overnight stay.

Day 9
Halls Creek > Derby (B,D)

An early start to travel to Fitzroy Crossing  where you will cruise on Geikie Gorge. Look out for sawfish, stingrays and Freshwater crocodiles. Spend the night at Derby.

Day 10
Derby > Broome (B,D)

See the Boab prison tree estimated to be 1500 years old before continuing to Broome with its white sandy beaches and tropical waters

Meet Neville and discover a unique and personal history of Broome . A third generation pearl diver – he will share his stories of Broome both modern and old. Hear how the local plants and bushes where the indigenous pharmacy and a source of bush tucker.

Freechoice: Take a tour of Broome on a Harley-Davidson™ Trike or ride camels along the famous Cable Beach. Alternatively, enjoy a cultural experience of Broome with an indigenous local or visit Willie Creek Pearl Farm.

Broome > Port Hedland (B,D)

Explore the Pilbara and view some of the world’s most ancient landscapes.

Day 13
Port Hedland > Karijini National Park (B,D)

Put on your hard hat for a tour of the Mount Tom Price iron ore mine. Stay overnight at Karijini National Park.

Day 14
Karijini National Park > Karratha (B,D)

Explore the ancient gorges and waterfalls of Karijini National Park. Visit Fortescue Falls and the Dale and Joffre Gorges for astounding views. Later, view the spectacular Hamersley Range with its sheer walls of rock, layered in many colours. Stay overnight at Karratha.

Day 15
Karratha > Exmouth (B,D)

Travel along the North West Coastal highway to Exmouth for a two night stay.

Day 16
Exmouth (B,D)

Start your day with a Ningaloo Reef coral viewing cruise before visiting historic Vlamingh Head Lighthouse for stunning views over Lighthouse Bay.

Sunset Drinks
Enjoy a drink at the resort’s bar and watch the trawlers head out to begin their evening’s work.

Day 17
Exmouth > Carnarvon (B)

Explore Coral Bay where the turquoise blue of the ocean meets the sandy bay at Ningaloo Reef. Visit the Carnarvon Space and Technology Museum, before arriving in Carnarvon for your overnight stay.

Day 18
Carnarvon > Denham (B,D)

Travel to Hamelin Pool to see the world’s best known colony of stromatolites. Visit the Shark Bay Discovery Centre designed to showcase the significance and history of the Shark Bay Region. Enjoy two nights at Denham.

Day 19
Monkey Mia (B)

This morning, travel to Monkey Mia for the opportunity to see the dolphins under the supervision of a national park ranger.

Freechoice: Cruise through Shark Bay searching for dugong or dine on damper as you listen to stories of the Dreamtime.

Day 20
Denham > Geraldton (B,D)

See Shell Beach then continue to Kalbarri National Park and experience the new Skywalk for views of Murchison River Gorge. At Geraldton visit the HMAS Sydney Memorial before arriving at your overnight stay.

Day 21
Geraldton > Perth (B)

Marvel at the extraordinary Pinnacles during your visit to Nambung National Park. Enjoy a two night Special Stay in Perth.

Day 22
Perth (B,D)

Freechoice: Journey to Rottnest Island for a chance to spot a quokka. Alternatively, enjoy a half day morning city explorer tour of Perth and Fremantle.

Day 23
Perth (B)

After breakfast, bid farewell to your new found friends, before returning home with many wonderful memories.
