Today ascend the Swiss Alps by rail to Gornergrat for magnificent views, including the Matterhorn.

Cross the border and continue to the Italian city of Stresa. Upon arrival you will check in to your hotel where you’ll enjoy beautiful rooms overlooking the crystal blue waters of Lake Maggiore.

Cruise Lake Maggiore, the stunning lake that straddles Switzerland and Italy. Pause along the way to visit the splendid Isola Bella, ‘the beautiful island’. Explore its baroque palace and luscious gardens, before continuing to Lugano and your two night stay.
